Meet the Doctor

Michael Zuschnitt, D.C.

I'm about to begin my 25th year of practice. I'm amazed at how fast it's gone by. And after 25 years I still love going to work every day! I think one of the reasons for this goes back to some good advice I received while I was still in school; treat your first hundred patients like family and you'll never have to worry about finding more patients.

In this time of healthcare change, things aren't what they used to be years ago. I understand that there are HMO hassles, paperwork woes, and more than ample things for us to complain about, but that's NO excuse. Studies are showing that many patients these days feel rushed, especially after waiting what feels like half of a day in the waiting room. They feel unheard and are often dissatisfied. It's sad that this is what our health care system has become, but that's not how it works in my office, where I still treat my patients like family - all 17,000 plus and counting.

After coming into my office I'm confident that you'll know immediately that you made a good decision, and you will always get the personal care you need. You will never be treated like just another patient, and you will not be herded in and out of my office like cattle. You will be treated the way I like to be treated when I visit my own doctor, and I will always take the time to listen to your concerns and attend to your specific needs.

My goal is simple; to give you what you want; to get you out of pain and back to a normal life as quickly as possible, and I will do everything in my power to get you those results. From scheduling your initial appointment to being released from care, I have your back. From processing your insurance and explaining your benefits, to communicating with your other doctors and scheduling any special imaging; we take care of it all. There are no hidden costs or surprises. You will be diagnosed to the highest degree of medical knowledge using standard orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic testing and you will leave understanding why you hurt and what you can do about it. If your condition is one that is not within my scope of practice, a referral will be made to the appropriate healthcare professional. I believe this is how healthcare should be delivered.

As another convenience to our patients, we realize that pain doesn't always hit at a convenient time, which is why we always welcome walk-in cases. If our office is open, all you have to do is show up and you will be evaluated and treated.

We look forward to working with you.
